Islamabad: In the budget for the financial year 2025-26, the federal government has announced the distribution of funds for the provinces under the NFC award. A total of Rs8,205 billion will be given to the provinces.
Punjab has been allocated Rs4,076 billion, Sindh Rs2,043 billion, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rs1,342 billion, while Balochistan has been allocated Rs743 billion. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will also be given additional funds due to the security situation.
Special grants are being considered for Balochistan to address its economic challenges.
