Lahore: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that the country’s history is about to reach a new turning point, and this change will begin with the Jamaat-e-Islami movement. He announced the holding of a historic public gathering in November during a press conference in Lahore, which will be the beginning of a new political awakening in the country.

Raising his voice for the youth, women, students, farmers and workers, he said that a rotten system is ruling the country, against which Jamaat-e-Islami has come forward as an alternative. He said that the youth are in despair because despite education, there is no employment, while the middle class is miserable due to inflation.

“We are starting a revolution against this system. Either the rights of the people should be fulfilled or give up power!” Hafiz Naeem asserted.

He alleged that the Benazir Income Support Program is being used for political purposes, and the workers are being deprived of their constitutional rights. Jamaat-e-Islami will launch a movement in November that will continue until the people get their rights.
