Heavy demand for RLNG connections slows down processing at Sui Northern offices

Sources at Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) have reported that the company is struggling to handle the increasing demand for RLNG (re-gasified liquefied natural gas) connections. Thousands of domestic customers have applied across the region, creating a huge backlog for the sales department.

The approval process for these applications has slowed down significantly due to the limited number of employees available to handle the workload. Long lines are forming daily at regional offices as citizens wait for updates on their submissions.

Applicants have expressed frustration over the slow pace, saying they submitted the forms weeks ago but have yet to receive confirmation or progress reports.

Company officials clarified that the RLNG connection programme has resumed after the earlier restrictions were lifted. They added that efforts are underway to strengthen human resources and improve the digital automation system to process applications faster. SNGPL says it is committed to providing prompt and reliable services to customers.
