Instructions for foolproof security arrangements for Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered strict security measures during the Chand Raat and Eid-ul-Fitr. He directed to increase the patrolling of women police squads in the markets for the protection of women and children. Additional police personnel will be deployed at 65 major commercial centers in Lahore, while drone cameras and night vision binoculars will be used for security surveillance. Police personnel will be deployed at 225 places around ATMs and banks, while blockades will be set up at 55 places to prevent money laundering.
