Iran’s new Supreme Leader Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei issued his first audio address to the nation after assuming office, presenting an important policy stance.
In his message, he said that Iran is facing many major challenges in the current situation and his new responsibilities also have extraordinary requirements. He stressed that keeping the Strait of Hormuz closed is necessary in the context of the current situation in the region.
Mojtaba Khamenei said that Iran will never give up its right to avenge the blood of its martyrs. He said that the strong connection between the Iranian leadership and the people will always exist and the support of the people is their real strength.
He said that the Iranian nation has proven to the world that it is a strong and united nation. According to him, hostile forces are targeting the Iranian people, but Iran will confront these conspiracies with its unity and determination.
The Iranian Supreme Leader took a tough stance regarding the US military bases in the region, saying that they should be closed immediately. He warned that if the US military bases are not closed, severe attacks may be launched on them.
He said that Iran wants friendly relations with its neighboring countries, but resistance will continue wherever American soldiers are present.
At the end of his speech, he said that the unity of the Iranian nation will defeat the enemy and Iran will definitely take revenge for all its martyrs, especially the martyrs of the Manab School.
