Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab considering public holiday tomorrow and keeping educational institutions closed

Karachi: Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab has said that the Sindh government is considering declaring a public holiday in Karachi tomorrow, while all schools and colleges in the city will remain closed.

Talking to the media, he said that we are facing many challenges due to rain. Karachi’s drainage system has a capacity of only 40 mm of rain, however, the continuous rain today has created difficulties in the relief work.

He added that despite the continuous rains, the administration is trying to provide maximum facilities to the citizens.
