The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has reduced LPG prices across Pakistan, bringing much-needed relief to consumers as the winter season approaches.
As per OGRA’s official notification, the new prices, effective from November 1, 2025, reflect a 2.73% decrease, with LPG rates dropping by Rs5.88 per kilogram. The updated retail price now stands at Rs201.60 per kg.
Following the revision, the cost of a domestic LPG cylinder has also declined, falling from Rs2,448 to Rs2,379 — a reduction of Rs70 per cylinder.
According to OGRA, the decision to lower prices came in light of reduced international LPG prices set by Saudi Aramco and a slight dip in the dollar exchange rate, both of which eased import costs.
The authority added that the new rates are expected to stabilize domestic energy expenses and benefit millions of consumers who rely on LPG for daily household use.
Market observers believe the adjustment could also help control inflationary pressures in the energy sector, particularly for consumers in remote regions dependent on LPG.
The revised prices are applicable nationwide starting November 1, and OGRA will continue to monitor global price trends for future adjustments.
