PAA NOTAM issued: 6 sectors of Lahore Flight Information Region temporarily closed

Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) announcing that flight operations at Islamabad International Airport will be temporarily suspended for some time on March 16.

According to the NOTAM, it has been decided to temporarily close six sectors of the Lahore Flight Information Region on March 16.

The announcement states that there will be no landing or take-off of commercial flights at Islamabad Airport from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on March 16.

According to the NOTAM, flights in the air during this time will have to wait for landing at Islamabad Airport.

PAA has instructed aircraft captains to carry extra fuel on flights in view of possible delays so that any emergency situation can be dealt with.
