Pakistan assures Bangladesh, supports equal rights in world cricket

According to government sources, Pakistan has assured the Bangladeshi government that it will fully respect their position regarding possible pressure from India in the T20 World Cup.
According to sources, the Bangladeshi government had contacted Pakistan in the backdrop of its decision not to send a team to India. Pakistani officials said on this occasion that Bangladesh’s reasonable reasons should be recognized and no country should be allowed to threaten or intimidate another country.
Pakistani officials further said that all teams should have equal rights in world cricket and no kind of pressure or threat should affect the game. This assurance gave Bangladeshi officials confidence that Pakistan would support them in this matter.
Officials say that if India does not meet the legitimate demands of the Bangladesh team, Pakistan may reconsider its participation in the T20 World Cup, which is also likely to affect the global cricket landscape.
