Pakistani passport improves significantly in global ranking

Islamabad: In the latest ranking of the world’s most powerful passports for the year 2025, the Pakistani passport has made great progress and has achieved 100th position with an improvement of 13 places.

This ranking was released by the renowned global organization Henley & Partners, which compiles a list based on the travel facilities of passports around the world every year.

As a result of the current improvement, visa-free or visa-on-arrival facilities have become available for Pakistani citizens in many countries, making travel abroad easier and more convenient than before.

According to the list of the world’s most powerful passports 2025, the Singaporean passport has consistently been declared the most powerful, its holders having the facility of visa-free entry to 193 countries.

Japan and South Korea are in second place, while Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, and Spain are in third place.

Visa-free or visa-on-arrival countries for Pakistani passports


The countries where this facility is available to Pakistani passport holders include Qatar, Nepal, Kenya, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Haiti, Barbados, Burundi, Cambodia, Djibouti, Somalia, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and Trinidad and Tobago.
