Pakistan’s strong reaction to Narendra Modi’s provocative statements

Islamabad: Pakistan has completely rejected the recent provocative and hateful statements of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Foreign Office spokesman said in his statement that Narendra Modi’s statement is a flagrant violation of international law and a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.

According to the spokesman, at a time when the world is making efforts to establish peace in South Asia, such statements are based on political expediency and misinformation, which is an attempt to further aggravate the situation.

The Foreign Office said these statements reflect the false narrative through which India seeks to justify its aggressive actions. Pakistan is committed to the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement and de-escalation, and for this purpose, the ceasefire was made possible through the mediation of several friendly countries.

The Foreign Office clarified that portraying Pakistan as a sign of desperation or weakness for the ceasefire is based on lies. The spokesperson said that India has once again resorted to propaganda by blaming Pakistan for the Pahalgam attack without any evidence.

The spokesperson said that Pakistan exercised utmost restraint, despite the Indian Army’s unprovoked attacks on Pakistani civilians and targeting of Pakistan’s military installations. Such actions are not only irresponsible. Rather, they can lead the region to the brink of destruction.
