Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced new central contracts. PCB Chairman Raif says that category A of the central contract has not been abolished, but no player in the new contract could meet the criteria for category A.
Based on performance, 10 players have been included in each of the B, C and D categories. The new contracts will be effective from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026.
Last year, 27 players were given contracts, while this year 12 new players have also been added to the list. This time, 9 players managed to retain their previous category while 8 players failed to get a contract.
