Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s diplomatic efforts for regional peace

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly rejected the baseless allegations leveled by India against Pakistan after the Pahalgam incident, saying Pakistan has been the biggest victim of terrorism and it has nothing to do with the incident. He also called for an independent and transparent investigation into the incident.

In his meeting with UAE Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi, the prime minister conveyed his best wishes to the UAE president and thanked him for his unwavering support to Pakistan. He urged the brotherly countries to exert pressure on India to de-escalate tensions in the region.

He said Pakistan would never take any step that would threaten regional peace and security.

In his meeting with Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki, the prime minister reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to peace and stability in the region and urged the brotherly countries to exert pressure on India to de-escalate tensions.
