Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shibli Faraz avoided addressing a journalist’s question regarding the expulsion of party member Sher Afzal Marwat during a press interaction in Islamabad. Instead of delving into the internal party matter, Faraz shifted the focus to pressing national issues, such as the rising terrorism, increasing inflation, and widespread public discontent. He dismissed the question about Marwat’s expulsion, stating, “Ask an important question about what is happening in the country,” and emphasized that decisions regarding the Adiala Jail camp issue would be made by the party, not him.
Shibli Faraz highlighted the severe economic challenges faced by the public, noting that inflation and chaos have left people across Pakistan struggling. He also reiterated PTI’s commitment to raising its voice against these issues in the Senate, stressing the need for meaningful negotiations to address the country’s problems effectively. Additionally, Shibli Faraz pointed out that protests are erupting nationwide as citizens grapple with economic hardships, further underscoring the urgency of addressing these critical issues.
