Lahore: The Punjab government has made an important announcement to keep students connected to their education during the summer holidays. Private schools have been allowed to conduct free summer camps from June 15 to July 15. According to Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat, the aim of this move is to provide children with opportunities for educational, creative, and physical activities.

The government has directed that participation in the summer camps will be voluntary and no fee will be charged. Action will be taken against the school in case of violation. The timings of the summer camps have been fixed from 7:30 am to 10:00 am so that children are protected from the intense heat. Parents and teachers welcomed the decision, saying that it is a positive development towards maintaining educational continuity.
