Punjab Launches New Anti-Smog Technology: Dust Separation Vehicles Begin Testing

In a proactive move to address the persistent problem of smog and air pollution in the province, the Punjab government has decided to introduce a new cutting-edge solution — Dust Separation Vehicles.

According to reliable sources within the Environment Department, testing has already begun on these specialized vehicles designed to control airborne dust particles, one of the major contributors to environmental degradation.

The Dust Separation Vehicles are equipped with state-of-the-art Mist Fan Technology, allowing them to spray water in all directions. Reports indicate that each vehicle is capable of dispersing a water mist up to 120 meters into the air, helping to suppress dust and improve air quality.

An official further noted that this is part of the government’s broader effort to modernize its approach to tackling environmental challenges and protect public health during the smog season.
