As Ramadan 2026 approaches, special preparations have begun across Pakistan for shopping, dining and entertainment activities. Shopping malls, restaurants and entertainment centers are planning to adjust their operating hours according to Ramadan.
Although the final schedule is yet to be officially announced, according to sources, most shopping malls plan to maintain the timings of last year’s Ramadan 2025. As per this tradition, malls will remain open during the day, while the number of shoppers is expected to increase significantly after Iftar.
Food courts and cafes will continue to provide convenience to children, senior citizens, patients and non-fasting people during the day, taking into account the diverse needs of citizens.
Restaurants are preparing to introduce special Iftar menus, discounted deals and family packages during Ramadan, while hotels will organize Iftar and Sehri buffets featuring traditional Pakistani and international cuisine.
Cinemas and entertainment centers are also expected to see an increase in activity after Iftar, so that families can enjoy entertainment in a calm environment.
The administration has instructed citizens and tourists to verify the latest working hours from the official websites and social media pages of the relevant institutions before Ramadan to avoid any confusion.
