Islamabad — Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said in his special message on the occasion of Youm-e-Takbir that May 28 is a proud day in Pakistan’s history, which is not only a symbol of national defense but also of the dignity of the entire Islamic nation. He said that Pakistan’s becoming a nuclear power is a message to the enemies of Islam that we will not compromise on our sovereignty.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that while today reminds us of national resolve, it cannot be complete without paying tribute to the architect of nuclear capability, Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. The entire nation will always remember his services.

He clarified that Pakistan’s nuclear power is a permanent obstacle for the enemies, which forces them to think a thousand times before any aggression.
