Lahore: The 721st annual Urs celebrations of Hazrat Khwaja Ziauddin Shah Sarwarbani Sabri (may Allah have mercy on him) will begin in Lahore from August 29, 2025 and will continue for three days.
According to the administration, the ritual of Ghusl will be performed after Asr prayers on August 29, Milad-un-Nabi (peace be upon him) will be held after Maghrib prayers on August 30, while Langar Sharif will be distributed after Zuhr prayers on August 31.
Prominent religious scholar Hazrat Allama Maulana Qari Muhammad Qasim Qadri will deliver a special address at the Urs celebrations. He is the Imam and Khateeb of Jamia Masjid, Rawda Abu Ishaq, Lahore.
The administration says that a large number of pilgrims are expected to participate and security and other arrangements are being finalized on this occasion so that pilgrims can receive the blessings of the Urs in a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere.
