Hafiz Naeem slams political parties, calls Senate elections shameful

Sargodha: Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Ameer Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has strongly reacted to the Senate elections and said that the shameful game played by political parties is regrettable for democracy. He said that PML-N, PPP, and JUI have undermined public trust.

Speaking to the media in Sargodha, Hafiz Naeem said, “The politicians’ light-heartedness has disappointed the people; now it is time for the people to get out of their clutches.”

Calling for a nationwide protest against inflation and oppressive electricity bills, he said that the government has illegally collected Rs 244 billion from the people.
