95 thousand drivers fined for overspeeding in Punjab

Punjab Traffic Police has fined more than 95 thousand drivers who violated the speed limit this year. This action is being carried out without discrimination across the province on the instructions of DIG Traffic Police.

According to the spokesperson, a 97 percent increase has been recorded in overspeeding cases this year compared to last year, which includes motorcyclists, private vehicles, and commercial transport.

DIG Traffic Police Nazir said that safe and easy travel of the public is the top priority, and to protect human lives, all possible measures are being taken.
