Applications for Hajj 2026 to be received from August 4, Ministry of Religious Affairs

Islamabad: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced that applications for Hajj 2026 are being started from August 4. According to the ministry spokesperson, the first installment of Hajj fees will be received from August 4 to 9 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Applications can be submitted through designated banks and online portals. According to the spokesperson, if seats are left, new pilgrims will also be able to apply from August 11 to 16. The collection of fees will be stopped as soon as the seats are filled. The second installment will be submitted from November 1.

The ministry has said that the package for Hajj 2026 will be between Rs. 1.15 million and Rs. 1.25 million, which also includes the payment of the sacrifice (Dum Shukr).  The restrictions on Hajj and upper age limit have been lifted again, however, children born after March 1, 2014 will not be able to apply.

This year, the government has decided to accept applications from unregistered Hajj pilgrims to ensure that the quota is filled.
