Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited has requested an average increase in gas price of Rs 189 per MMBtu

SNGPL has submitted a new application before the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA), in which it has proposed to increase gas prices.

In the application, SNGPL It has also reported an estimated revenue shortfall of around Rs 52.95 billion. In addition, Rs 316.64 per unit has also been sought for LNG service.

OGRA has fixed November 7 as the date for hearing on this application.

According to sources, in this application, it has been proposed to increase the average gas price per MMBtu to Rs 1,955.50, which is about Rs 189 more than the current fixed price of Rs 1,766.50 per MMBtu.
