Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that Pakistan received the help of Allah Almighty in the battle of truth and India has been taught a lesson that the Modi government will never forget. Speaking at the Prime Minister Laptop Scheme ceremony in Haripur, the Prime Minister said that this success is the result of the collective prayers, unity and sacrifices of the nation.
The Prime Minister said that the ambitions that India had cherished have turned into defeat and this historical fact will now always be remembered. He said that Pakistan is a peaceful country but cannot compromise on its sovereignty and security.
While addressing the ceremony, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that so far more than 600,000 laptops have been distributed on the basis of 100 percent merit. He said that merit is the foundation on which a strong and self-reliant nation stands.
The Prime Minister paid tribute to the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and said that this province belongs to people who are brave, courageous and have a history of sacrifices. The people of this province, the police and the armed forces of Pakistan have made unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terrorism.
He said that thanks to these sacrifices, an atmosphere of peace has prevailed in the country today and history will remember these sacrifices in golden letters until the Day of Judgment. The Prime Minister termed the young students as the architects of the future and said that today’s students will lead Pakistan tomorrow.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the development of Pakistan will be possible when all four provinces move forward equally. He stressed that providing quality education to children is the first responsibility of the state and no compromise will be made on it.
He announced that talented students from all over the country will be sent abroad for education in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technology so that they can return home after learning modern sciences and serve Pakistan.
Speaking on the economic situation, the Prime Minister said that the country’s economy has now come out of the doldrums, but the journey of development is not possible with any magic or shortcut. According to him, continuous hard work, honesty and national unity are the keys to success.
At the end of his address, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced the establishment of Danish School in Haripur and said that this institution will prove to be the foundation of a bright future for the children of the area.
