Protest is our constitutional right, authority for negotiations lies with the appointed persons: Barrister Gohar

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Barrister Gohar has clarified that protest is the party’s constitutional right and there are formal instructions from the founder PTI regarding the street movement, which are being implemented.
Talking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Barrister Gohar said that the responsibility for the street movement has been given to Sohail Afridi and his visit to Lahore was not a party consultation but on the instructions of the founder PTI.
He said that the authority for negotiations lies with Mahmood Achakzai and Allama Nasir Abbas, who will determine the roadmap for the negotiations. The party leadership has given him full confidence.
The PTI Chairman said that 16 members of parliament, including Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi, have been sentenced and despite entering the new year, it seems that 2026 will also be the year of sentences.
He said that a ceasefire has been reached with the enemy, but internal political tensions are not ending, which is worrying for the country.
