US-Iran Talks in Islamabad End Without Agreement, Pakistan’s Diplomatic Role Highlighted

Islamabad: High-level talks between the US and Iran in Pakistan continued for 21 hours but failed to reach a final agreement.

US Vice President JD Vance announced at the end of the talks that although many important issues were discussed in detail, the two sides could not agree on an agreement.

He praised Pakistan’s efforts and said that Pakistan was not responsible for any failure in the talks, but the Pakistani leadership made every effort to reduce the distance between the two sides.

Important topics such as Iran’s nuclear program, easing of sanctions, frozen assets, economic issues and regional security were discussed in the talks.
