Karachi: Today gold rates reached their highest point ever in Pakistan because the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association reported a PKR 1,500 per tola increase. The value of gold has elevated to PKR 309,500 per tola marking its highest recorded price point in Pakistan.
The price for 10 grams of gold increased to PKR 265,346 after PKR 1,286 was added to its value. The rise in domestic gold prices corresponds to international market trends because international gold prices reached USD 2,948 after increasing USD 12 per ounce.
Many domestic and outside economic elements caused gold prices to rise. The Pakistani rupee’s weakened value against the US dollar as well as rising domestic inflation rates caused the price increase. The perception of gold as a haven asset during crisis periods drives global investors to buy the metal because of present market instability combined with geopolitical unrest.
