Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced a tree plantation campaign, appealing to the people to plant trees

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, on the occasion of International Day of Forests, has appealed to the people to plant trees and erase the darkness of smog. He announced that 15 lakh saplings would be planted across the province, while a total of 1.5 crore saplings were targeted to be planted. More than 44 lakh saplings have been planned to be planted under the Chief Minister’s Plant for Pakistan Campaign and 34 lakh under the Green Pakistan Program.
