Lahore: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman declared his intention to lead people towards the US Consulate in Lahore on April 11. He announced that future protests targeting US embassies in Karachi and Islamabad would take place on April 13 and April 20, respectively.

Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman strongly criticized the Israeli attacks on Gaza by stating that Palestinians face a massacre with the world watching but saying nothing. According to his statement, the United States and the European Union remain the main backers of Israel, which history will later condemn.

Jamaat-e-Islami leader reported Gaza destruction exceeded 80 to 90 percent while more than 80,000 Palestinians became displaced from their homes. The Pakistani government should express its opposition to the Indian bill and speak up to support the Palestinian cause.
