Pakistan will give a befitting reply to any act of terrorism.

Ata Tarrar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar has termed India’s recent statements as “highly irresponsible” and said that “today Pakistan has given a befitting reply to India’s sinister designs.” “We have reacted doubly strongly to Indian statements, and trade with India is completely suspended.

India has only loud and shrill voices, while it has been using terrorism for its political purposes. The whole world knows that India is sponsoring terrorism in Pakistan. Today we have equalized all the calculations, including interest.

The Defence Minister’s tough stance

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif made serious revelations while holding a press conference after a meeting of the National Security Committee. “India is planning to unleash terror on Pakistani cities. If our citizens are attacked, Indian citizens will also not be safe.

Pakistan reserves the right to self-defense, and we are ready for any misadventure by India,” he said. We will not give in to international pressure. He accused India of “fueling terrorism from Afghanistan to Pakistan through the BLA.

Citing examples of Indian complicity in Canada and the US, the defense minister said, In the case of Kulbhushan Jadhav, we have living testimony of India’s terrorism. The BLA openly acknowledges its relationship with India.

According to political observers, these strong statements by the Pakistani leadership are important in the context of rising tensions in the region and make it clear that Pakistan is fully prepared to counter any aggression.
