LAHORE: Punjab Information Minister Uzma Bukhari has lashed out at the Indian media for spreading fake news in the name of journalism. Contrary to Indian media claims, all cities in Pakistan are safe and normal.

According to the dock media, India has conquered the whole of Pakistan, but the fact is that the Indian Army has been suffering a humiliating defeat for three days. Referring to the 1965 war, she said, India had dreamt of conquering Lahore even at that time but faced a crushing defeat. The same story is being repeated today.

Uzma Bukhari said, “The world’s media is making fun of the Indian government and the dock media as their lies are being exposed day by day.” Thank God all Pakistan Air Force planes are safe,” she added.

She asserted that Pakistan’s forces and people are capable of resolutely resisting any aggression. India is resorting to propaganda to hide its defeat, but history is witness that Pakistan has always protected its territory.

The information minister appealed to the people not to listen to the false propaganda of the Indian media and to have full faith in the Pakistani forces. Every enemy plot will be foiled, and Pakistan’s security will not be allowed to be jeopardized in any way, she said.
