Karachi: During a press conference in Karachi, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman took a stand on international affairs and domestic issues and said that India has faced repeated defeats but is not giving up on its policies. He said that whatever India is doing, Israel is also adopting the same approach in Gaza. Referring to a recent survey conducted in the UK, he said that fifty percent of citizens are raising their voices against Israel, which is a manifestation of global awareness.
He said that Pakistan’s Air Force is the strongest air force in the world, and the entire nation unites in times of crisis. He further said that attacks on children in areas like Khuzdar are unacceptable; the government should negotiate with such elements and establish peace.
Speaking on the problems of Karachi, Hafiz Naeem said that severe load shedding and water shortage in the city have made the lives of citizens difficult. People are forced to buy water tankers by paying thousands of rupees. They said that the most expensive electricity-generating company is K-Electric, and it is taking unfair measures like cutting off electricity to the entire area.
