Islamabad: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah has strongly criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that democracy progresses through dialogue, not deadlock.
In his latest statement, he said that considering the PTI’s past protest style, it is not possible to trust them to protest within the ambit of the constitution and law in the future. “PTI has adopted an attitude against state institutions in the past, held demonstrations outside the IMF offices and tried to lead the country towards default.”
According to Rana Sanaullah, the real aim of PTI is to create instability in the country, they are neither serious about negotiations nor want progress towards any democratic solution.
He added that “PTI no longer has the ability to run an effective movement, and if any dialogue takes place, it will be on all aspects, not partial ones.”
He clarified that the government is not in favor of removing the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at this time because the country needs political stability, and this is not the time for any new confrontation.
