Islamabad: Another inflation shock for the public, the government has significantly increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel.
According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, petrol has become more expensive by Rs 5.36 to Rs 272.15 per liter, while high-speed diesel has increased by Rs 11.37 to Rs 284.35 per liter.
The new prices will be implemented from 12:00 tonight, July 15, 2025. According to officials, the change in prices has been made due to fluctuations in the global market, however, there has been a wave of disappointment among the public.
