BISP introduces new retail payment system for women

Bahawalpur: Keeping in mind the safety and convenience of women, the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) has introduced a new retail payment model, which has been activated across the country from today. The initiative aims to save women from long queues in camps in the scorching heat.

This decision was taken in an important meeting in Bahawalpur, chaired by BISP Additional Secretary Dr. Tahir Noor. It was agreed in the meeting that women will be made able to pay from their nearest approved retail outlets so that they are safe from the hardships of travel and weather.

Dr. Tahir Noor clarified that “We want our sisters and mothers to receive assistance with dignity and convenience, and for this purpose a modern and effective system is necessary.”
