Remittances are the Lifeline of Pakistan’s Economy: Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, while addressing a function, said that remittances sent by overseas Pakistanis are a “lifeline” for the country’s economy. His statement supports the fact that Pakistan’s economy is moving in the right direction.
The Finance Minister further said that the current government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is striving to achieve economic stability and sustainable development. He also mentioned that this journey is still in its early stages and several steps are being taken to further develop the country.
Reiterating the government’s commitment to reforms in the energy, banking and state-owned enterprises (SOEs) sectors, he said that these steps are aimed at ensuring continuity in policies and better government management. He said that administrative reforms are also being introduced, the positive effects of which will be seen soon.
Concluding his speech, Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasized that the main goal of the government is to lead the country on the path of economic strength and sustainable development.
