The price of gold has increased in Pakistan, after which gold per tola has crossed Rs 440,000.
According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola has increased by Rs 2,000. After the increase, the new price has become Rs 440,636.
The price of 10 grams of gold has also been fixed at Rs 377,774, an increase of Rs 1,715.
According to the association, the price of gold in the global market has increased by $20 per ounce. After the increase, gold has reached $4,181 per ounce globally.
The impact of the increase in gold prices in the global market has also been seen in the local bullion market. Along with the global price, the value of the rupee and local market conditions also affect the price of gold.
After the new prices, consumers buying gold jewellery will have to spend more money than the previous rate. The buying and selling of gold in the market may change further according to future global rates.
