Mixed trend on Pakistan Stock Exchange, 100 Index up 538 points

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a mixed trend on the last day of the trading week, however, the 100 Index recorded an increase of 538 points during trading, after which the index reached 164,983 points.

During the day, the index reached a high of 164,999 points at one point, while the low was 163,752 points. The cautious attitude in business activities remained, but the trend of buying in selected stocks by investors was prominent.

At the end of trading yesterday, the 100 Index closed at 164,444 points.

According to experts, the current improvement reflects the increase in investor confidence and hopes associated with upcoming economic announcements.
