Pakistan Stock Exchange: 100 Index remained in a band of 4,619 points during the week

The 100 Index continued to move in a wide band of 4,619 points during the business week at the Pakistan Stock Exchange, which clearly showed the volatility in the market.
The highest level of the 100 Index during the week was 185,208 points, while the lowest level was 180,589 points.
A total of 4.9 billion shares were traded in the stock market during the week, worth Rs 292 billion. Due to investor activity, market capitalization increased by Rs 206 billion, after which the total market capitalization reached Rs 20,974 billion. According to experts, investor confidence is gradually recovering, which is being attributed to the improvement in economic indicators and continuity in policies.
