The price of petrol in the country has increased once again, and the new price has reached close to Rs 359 per litre. After the latest decision issued by the government, high-speed diesel has also become more expensive.
According to the new rates, petrol will now be sold at Rs 358.77 per litre. Its price has been increased by Rs 12.90 per litre compared to the previous rate. The price of high-speed diesel has also increased, and now it is Rs 381.77 per litre.
Diesel prices have increased by Rs 3.72 per litre. Thus, the prices of both the major fuels have increased in a single revision, but the change in petrol prices is more significant.
After the implementation of the fresh prices, the travel expenses of car and motorcycle users may increase. People who use fuel daily will have to include this increase in their budget.
