Federal Government Increased the Petrol and Diesel Prices

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced an increase in petrol and diesel prices, effective 16th January 2025, according to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance.

New Fuel Prices

• Petrol Price: Increased by Rs. 3.47 to a new rate of Rs. 256.13 per liter.
• High-Speed Diesel (HSD) Price: Raised by Rs. 2.61, setting the new price at Rs. 260.95 per liter.

The revised prices are part of the government’s adjustments, reflecting global oil market trends and economic conditions.
