Karachi: According to the most current rates of the forex, the market has been noted as fairly stable for buying and selling, buying in USD at Rs 278.35 while selling in USD at Rs 279.85 on January 4, 2025. On the other hand, in terms of other major currencies, the euro is sold at Rs 290.00, and the UK pound sterling is Rs 350.50. Current local currency like Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham stands at Rs 74.45 and Rs 76.15, respectively. The market also included activity in Asian currencies,, where the Chinese Yuan was trading at Rs 38.39/Yuan and the Japanese Yen at Rs 1.84/Yen.
These rates capture the flow of such currencies consequent to international market forces and local demand for foreign exchange.
