Karachi: On January 23 2025 Pakistan’s open market forex rates experienced small changes while the US Dollar retained its power with buying and selling rates of 279.75 PKR and 281.25 PKR respectively. The British Pound Sterling reached its highest point when traders bought it for 344.00 PKR and sold it for 347.50 PKR. The Euro grew steadily and reached 290.50 PKR buying and 293.25 PKR selling. The Chinese Yuan stayed unchanged at 37.59 PKR for buying and 37.99 PKR for selling but Saudi Riyal and UAE Dirham rates remained stable at 74.20 PKR and 75.90 PKR purchasing respectively.
The Australian Dollar and Canadian Dollar showed small changes in value due to ongoing global market concerns. Market participants track world news and regional data to understand both economic stability and heightened attention in foreign exchange rates.
