Gold prices in the domestic bullion market remained broadly steady on Monday, 26 May 2026, with rates for different purity levels showing consistent trends in line with international market movements and local demand conditions.

According to latest data from local jewellers, the price of 24-karat gold stood at Rs 465,500 per tola, while the rate for 10 grams was recorded at Rs. 399,091. The per-gram price was calculated at Rs 39,909.

Market participants said gold rates continue to move in close correlation with global bullion prices and exchange rate fluctuations. They added that seasonal demand, particularly in the run-up to wedding-related buying activity, also plays a role in shaping short-term price trends.

Analysts noted that investors are closely watching international economic indicators, including inflation expectations and currency movements, which continue to influence sentiment in the local bullion market.
