Honda has finally launched its first electric motorcycle, the WN7, priced at 12,999 pounds, which is approximately Rs 4.9 million in Pakistani currency.
The model comes with a 130 km range per charge and features advanced CCS2 fast charging technology, which charges the battery from 20% to 80% in just 30 minutes. Full charging is possible in less than 3 hours using a home charger.
In terms of performance, the bike is on par with a 600cc petrol engine motorcycle, while its torque is said to be close to that of a 1000cc bike.
The design features a slim body, modern EV styling, a 5-inch TFT screen and Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity.
The company says that this motorcycle is the beginning of Honda’s entry into the electric market, and they are committed to making all their motorcycles carbon neutral by 2040.
