Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman: Full solidarity with Pakistan; India should apologise for border encroachment

ISLAMABAD: Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman of Jamaat-e-Islami, while praising Pakistan’s strong defense strategy against India, said that Pakistan’s forces have crushed India’s pride and responded strongly to its aggression. At the press conference, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said that political differences should be kept aside and we should all stand with the army and the government.

Terming India’s recent actions as a “false flag operation,” he said that India itself has not yet investigated the Pahalgam incident, while in the past, India has been staging such incidents on its own. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman strongly condemned India’s attacks, which include not only attacks on mosques. Our children have also been killed. He said that India is targeting innocent civilians instead of competing in any arena like Israel.

“Referring to his recent conversation with the Prime Minister, Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman said,” “We have assured him of our full support and decided that if the US President or the Secretary of State talks to Pakistan, we will make three important demands of them: the restoration of the Indus Waters Treaty, talks on the Kashmir issue, and an apology from India for the attacks on mosques and childre”n.

He stressed the need for the nation to remain vigilant and said that just as Pakistan’s forces have defeated India on the battlefield, the same resolve is needed at the negotiating table. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also said that Jamaat-e-Islami workers are ready to offer voluntary services at any time, and honor and dignity will be maintained in friendship with China.
