India has committed a blunder and will have to bear the brunt: PM Shahbaz Sharif

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, in his address to the nation, has said that India has made a big mistake by attacking Pakistan’s sovereignty last night, for which it will have to bear the brunt.

He said that the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force had destroyed the pride of the enemy. “The aircraft that were India’s pride have now become ashes and relics.

The Prime Minister revealed that 26 innocent civilians were martyred and 46 others, including children, were injured in the Indian attack. He said attending the funeral prayer of 7-year-old martyr Ertazi Abbas was heart-wrenching, and the government would take account of every drop of blood.

Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan proved last night that we are capable of giving a befitting reply in defense. “Our forces and pilots set new examples of valor and skill.

Terming India’s attack as a violation of international law, he said, “Pakistan had offered an impartial probe into the Pahalgam incident, but India chose the path of aggression.

In his address, the prime minister once again called for resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions and made it clear that “the dispute will remain until Kashmiris get the right to vote freely.”
