Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a strong upward trend on the last day of the trading week, due to which the 100 Index once again regained the 1,39,000 point mark.
Today, the 100 Index recorded a gain of 505 points during the first trading session, after which the index reached 139,198 points.
During the day, the index also reached a high of 139,417 points, which is evidence of increased investor confidence.
It should be remembered that the market closed at 138,692 points yesterday, but today’s rally has ended the week in a positive mood.
According to analysts, the prospects of international investment and the stability of the rupee have attracted investors back to the market.
