Lahore: The Pakistan cricket team selected its playing eleven for the second West Indies Test by replacing Khurram Shahzad with Kashif Ali. Right-arm fast bowler Kashif Ali joins the Pakistan Test squad as Khurram Shahzad’s replacement and will make his Pakistan Test debut on the following day.
Team captain Shan Masood leads Pakistan’s squad, which features 10 players, including Mohammad Huraira and defending skipper Babar Azam, and accounts for Kamran Ghulam and Saud Shakeel and wicketkeepers Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Agha. Also part of the team are slow pacers Sajid Khan and Nauman Ali and spinners Abrar Ahmed.
The second and concluding Test match will start on Friday in Multan. Pakistan has the upper hand in the Test series following their triumphant 127-run victory in the opening match. The hosts lead the series at 1-0 and desire another victory to finish with complete dominance, yet England hopes to emerge victorious during the final encounter of the series.
