PIA Launches Pre-Hajj Operation to Transport Over 55,000 Pilgrims

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially announced the start of its pre-Hajj operation, which will kick off on April 19. The airline will be responsible for transporting more than 55,000 pilgrims to Saudi Arabia through a series of 191 flights departing from various airports across Pakistan.

As part of the operation, 49,000 pilgrims will be traveling under the government’s Hajj scheme, while more than 6,000 pilgrims will be accommodated on PIA flights through private Haj group operators.

The first flight of the operation, PK-747, will depart from Sialkot for Madinah at 1:55 AM on April 19, with over 390 pilgrims aboard.

PIA will be conducting 46 flights from Islamabad, carrying a total of 15,400 pilgrims, ensuring that the journey for thousands of devotees is smooth and timely ahead of the sacred pilgrimage.
